THERMOSEC

Safety thermostat for engine cooling liquid circuit.
 
Almost every explosion engines cooled with water, feature a closed cooling circuit passing through a radiator, used to cool the circuit water in order to maintain a constant temperature allowing the good working order.

A thermostat which valve doesn't open before the temperature rises above a certain limit, generally around 80 degrees C manages the streaming of this water..

The problems !
Even thought those classical thermostats are being simply built, they are "subjects to break downs" producing overheating of the engine leading almost any time to costly and serious consequences as they can destroy the engine.

Even more, a vehicle suffering such a breakdown won't be able to go to the next garage on its own.

It is relatively hard to avoid these thermostats breakdown, in particular in the automobile as their causes may come from various origins. In many cases, with some vehicles used for short trips the temperature rarely rises the limit. Thus most of the mobile pieces inside the thermostat are not being used for long period of time and can be blocked because of a layer of deposit or of some corrosion.

Some engines of agricultural machines, of construction machines and of others, of stationary engine or rescue engine, of generator, of pumps, etc, are as well victims of the blocked thermostat trouble.
 

The genius solution !

Thus the THERMOSEC's goal is to provide a safety thermostat able to avoid overheating of the liquid, even in the cases where a shortcoming tops the thermostat to open.




The basic principle of THERMOSEC lays in the " automatically opening" of the thermostat's valve as soon as the cooling liquid temperature reaches the dangerous threshold for the engine, around 110 degrees C.

Even more, this opening is not reversible
The THERMOSEC will stay in the "open " posture and therefore will automatically re-equilibrate the streaming of the cooling liquid. The engine can keep functioning "without danger"

The THERMOSEC is thus a safety thermostat for all water cooled engine and offers economical advantages, as much financial than in loss of time, allowing to avoid the following problems :
  • The "overheating" of the engine
  • To "burn" the head cylinder joint
